Eeekkkk! Just a few months late in sharing Angie and Tom’s October wedding. Y’all…. I’m so thankful to work with absolutely amazing couples. Angie and Tom were so cool and super chill throughout the whole process and on the days leading up to the wedding as we made several weather-related changes. They were so trusting and I can’t tell you how much easier that makes my job.
Angie and Tom’s wedding was a destination wedding held on family property, so it was super special to both of them to have friends and family from all over the world fly in to celebrate their special day. I’d love to say that the day ran smoothly because it was planned to perfection, BUT the truth is that even the most perfectly planned event has hiccups and in our case, those came in the form of honey bees. Honey bees, really?? Seriously. Never did I think I’d have bartenders running around with several bee stings and unable to set up their bars and I’d have to call a bee keeper to relocate these little guys :). Nevertheless, Tom and Angie stayed so calm, trusting and focused on what actually mattered that day. Regardless of the “hiccups” the ceremony was so beautiful and the reception was a blast. The CheeWeez killed it and Angie and Tom decided NOT to do a cake cutting, bouquet/garter toss or money dance— I can’t tell you how much I love that they did that! This meant they were able to spend the night having fun and enjoying their family and friends that traveled so far to be with them. After all, isn’t that what it’s all about?
I’m so pumped to FINALLY share my favorites from their big day taken by Sarah Beth Photography.
