Immaculate Conception + Broussard’s
New Orleans, LA
I can’t express how excited I was for Aimee and Jon’s traditional New Orleans wedding last Spring. I was very pregnant, but that did NOT stop me from second lining through the streets of New Orleans with the rest of this amazing group. We had so much fun working with this sweet couple and being a part of such a wonderful day for Aimee and Jon.
Several of the bride’s family members stayed at the Terrell House Bed and Breakfast. This is also where the bride and her bridesmaids got ready for the big day. It was the perfect spot for everyone to gather for a yummy breakfast that morning and enjoy themselves as they got ready and took portraits in the beautiful courtyard later that afternoon. If you are looking for a beautiful location to get ready or for guests to stay for your wedding, I’d highly recommend the Terrell House!
Once portraits were done, everyone headed to the insanely gorgeous Immaculate Conception Church where they had a traditional Catholic ceremony before dancing through the streets of New Orleans to the sounds of Knockaz Brass Band as they second lined to their reception location, Broussard’s. When everyone made it to Broussard’s they ate some delicious food and danced the night away while listening to Papa C and the Slammin’ Horns.
This day and this night were filled with the most loving and excited guests. Everyone had such a wonderful time, it was so fun to for myself and my team to be a part of this wonderful day! Also, did I forget to mention how BEAUTIFUL everything was? What a night to remember!
