You guys, you want to see couple goals? Blaire and Carson…. a perfect match. These two could not compliment each other more beautifully!!! Although the circumstances in which I got to witness these sweet moments were… perhaps not ideal, in my opinion, it was the most perfect way to start off a marriage.
So let me back up…. Blaire and Carson were married in an outdoor ceremony at the Hilliard Art Museum with a cocktail hour on the front lawn and the indoor/outdoor reception there also. After months of planning everything to perfection and holding out hope for the most perfect weather…. we almost made it! The ceremony was perfect but almost immediately after the cocktail hour was finished, just as this sweet couple was about to make their grand entrance…. down pour. Skies opened up and everything got soaked. Of course, there was a lot of disappointment but just as Blaire was getting upset, Carson stepped in and reminded her in the sweetest way that none of it mattered and they were still going to have an amazing night.
Luckily, the weather subsided almost as quickly as it came and her guests did not care about getting a little damp. Everyone danced the night away to the sounds of Three37, enjoyed cake from Keller’s Bakery and honestly seemed to have had the best time.
So brides and grooms…… don’t let the weather or anything that may happen on your wedding day get you down. No matter what happens, your response to it is going to determine how you remember that day. So take minute, take a deep breath and remember that as long as you marry the person you love, literally nothing else matters. THAT is what is truly most important.
