Knocking out blog posts left and right! For this sweet couple’s wedding, we headed on over to Plaquemine, Louisiana to visit the James Grace House and let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint!

The James Grace House is actually the residence of Dr. Grace, one of the friendliest little old men you’ll meet. He took me on a tour of his home, told me about his family and his career, I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed working at this venue because of the kindness of it’s owner. And, it’s no surprise that Laura and Ethan, two of the nicest people that you’ll meet would also choose this sweet hidden gem as the site for their ceremony and reception.

These two love birds were married under the great oak tree located in the back of the property. The tree was dressed up a bit with beautiful flowers, draping and hanging candles from Hummingbird Floral Studio. After the ceremony, the guests then made their way to the old barn where the reception would be held.

The entire day was so sweet and special for Laura, Ethan and their friends and family. I loved people watching during this event. The pure joy on everyone’s faces was so special to see. I feel truly thankful to have been a part of and witness to such a special day in Laura and Ethan’s life.
